Thoughtful interior design advice.
For projects large or small.
I’m Claudia, founder of northsix. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed or just unsure what to do next with your home, I’m here to help. I offer clear, practical and inspirational design guidance so you can make better decisions and create spaces that feel more like you.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
Most people don’t come to me with a neat brief. They come with a mix of ideas, questions and half-made decisions — and a sense that something isn’t quite working.
“Are you sitting in a beautiful house that still doesn’t quite feel like “you”?
Maybe you have the space and the budget, but not the headspace to make all the decisions?”
Too many choices, not enough time – and you just need someone to guide you through it..
Maybe you’ve spent hours scrolling, saved too many images and still can’t find the right sofa..
Maybe you’ve bought pieces that don’t sit together..
Maybe you and your partner like different styles and don’t know how to bring them together..
Or maybe you’re planning something bigger and want someone experienced to guide you through it..
This is where I come in.
I’m your personal guide through the noise: helping you make confident choices, avoid costly mistakes and create a home that truly reflects your taste, your lifestyle and the way you live every day.
My job is to listen, untangle the thoughts, and help you find a way forward that feels calm and doable.
How I can help
I work with clients in different ways, depending on how much support they need and where they are in their project. We start where you are, then build from there if needed.
Sounding Board Consultation
A focused online or in-house session when you need an expert eye and honest, practical advice — not a full redesign. Bring your questions and I’ll give you clear recommendations you can act on straight away.
One-Room Concept
A more complete design for one key room. I develop a cohesive concept for layout, look and feel so you can move forward with confidence instead of second-guessing every choice.
Room Direction
For when you have lots of ideas but no clear plan. I help you decide what to keep, what to let go of, and how to pull a room together so it feels intentional rather than pieced together.
Full Interior Design
For larger or more complex projects where you’d like me involved from early ideas through to a resolved design, and often beyond, as a steady design partner along the way.
How we’ll work together
Good design is as much about the process as the end result!
I actively engage clients in the design and planning process - resulting in a creative collaborative process that achieves unique design solutions, personal to every project.
I try to make things feel straightforward and human, not intimidating or overly formal.
01
We talk
We start with a relaxed conversation about what’s going on in your home, what isn’t working, and what you’d love to change. I will also ask you to fill in a questionnaire that will help me understand who you are and what you need.
02
We find the direction
I listen carefully, ask questions and help you sort through the noise so we can land on a clearer direction together. We will also agree on priorities and I will show you little quick wins, that you can implement immediately.
03
We move things forward
Depending on the service, that might be live or online advice, a room direction or full room design concept, or a broader full-scale design plan for your home. All will include clear visual design inspiration and easy to follow guidance.
04
We review
Once you have had time to study and process the proposals and options, we review what is working for you and what isn’t and adjust or fine-tune the proposal according to your feedback.
A calm guide through the decisions.
With over twenty years of experience in human-centered architecture and interior design, I bring both architectural & creative thinking and a very human approach to all my projects.
I don’t expect you to know all the answers - that’s what I’m here for.
My job is to make the whole process feel clearer and less overwhelming and ultimately create an environment that feels right and authentic to you.
Homes that feel lived-in, not “done”.
I love rooms that feel warm, functional and quietly characterful - spaces that work for real life and still feel special. My projects balance layout, light, materiality and comfort so your home feels like it belongs to you, not to a trend. Homes should work beautifully in real life, not just on paper.

That is a perfectly fine place to start!
